I was always a big fan of watermelon. Why I couldn’t tell but the freshness of this fruit on a hot summer night always made me feel kind of high 🙂
Watermelon isn’t just water and sugar; there is so much more in this lovely fruit.
It is full of nutrients, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. It is light, it is hydrating, and it tastes delicious.
AND CALORIES? ALMOST NONE.
This is one of the rare desserts you can eat without having guilt, and this way you can give your body an energy boost without thinking have you overdone it?
Watermelon is mainly made of water, up to 90%, depending on the sort of watermelon. It means you can be hydrated fast and at the same time give your body great nutrients.
Of course, you cannot stop drinking water if you eat watermelon, you just won’t have to drink as much.
FUN FACT: Did you know that the biggest producer of watermelon in the world is CHINA?
Watermelons which I buy in my hometown are mainly from Greece and Croatia, so I was kind of stunned when I discovered this fact.

- 2 cups of watermelon cubes
- 5 ice cubes

Blend it and enjoy!
